Casting a guide box, Westinghouse works - From the Library of Congress
In 1904, Westinghouse Companies created a series of short movies depicting various enterprises.
In this 5-minute film, a large bucket full of molten material is poured into a large container, possibly a mold, by a group of men using machinery. Other workers stoke the fire under the container. When the pouring is finished, the bucket is lifted from the container and taken away on a crane. Two men put prods down repeatedly into the container, while others lay covers on top of it.
